Student Media Assistants
Student Media Assistant responsibilities include shelving books, assisting with new bulletin boards, keeping shelves neat, running errands, checking out books, checking in books, and other special projects. Student Media Assistants may perform their duties during their designated Media class time or on a specific morning during the week between 8:45am and 9:15am.
Students who are interested in becoming Media Assistants must fill out an application (see link below), have their classroom teacher sign it, and return it to Ms. Devereaux in the Media Center. Turning in a signed application does not guarantee that a student will be chosen as a Media Assistant.

WUPA Broadcast Crew
WUPA Broadcast Crew Members are responsible for learning all aspects of broadcasting (reading and writing scripts, professional on-screen behavior, camera and equipment operation) as they put on each morning broadcast. WUPA Crew Members should report to duty by 8:50am every morning in the Media Center. The daily broadcast begins at 9:00am and usually lasts between 5 and 15 minutes depending upon the content of the show.
Students who are interested in becoming WUPA Crew Members must fill out an application (see link below), have their classroom teacher sign it, and return it to Ms. Devereaux in the Media Center. Turning in a signed application does not guarantee that a student will be chosen as a WUPA Crew Member.

PLEASE REMEMBER: Any WUPA Crew Member or Student Media Assistant who receives a referral from any teacher at any time during the school year will lose their position and will not be invited to the end-of-year Media Celebration.
